8 Horror Movie Based Video Games You Probably Didn't Know Existed

Since the inception of video games, there's been an omnipresent fascination with transferring images from the big screen onto playable, interactive formats on the small screen. Unfortunately, while these attempts have often been ambitious in nature, it's rare that they ever work out well in practice. Needless to say, conceptually, being able to see and  control some of our favorite cinematic characters remains a novel idea (and one which only seems to be gaining in popularity). Referring specifically to horror, many will recall some of the earlier and more popular adaptations including Friday the 13th or Jaws. Aside from these, however, there were a handful of other lesser known titles which often go unrecognized. So, to finally give these some recognition, I've compiled a list of 8 horror movie based video games that you probably didn't know existed.
